1959 Fender Model 5F6-A “4-input” Bassman Amp! 4x10” guitar or bass combo! Beautiful example and near all original! Starting with the cab, tweed and grill cloth, they’re all original and in great shape! Speakers are the only thing unoriginal to 59’. Speakers that are installed now are a pair of early 50’s Jensen P10P’s which are the next magnet size up from what would have came originally in the amp (P10Q) and also a set of late 60’s fender branded CTS alnico’s. When it comes to the chassis it’s perfect! All original transformers, silk screening and original knobs are in beautiful shape! Original handle is present but cracked. Amp has been fully serviced and sounds incredible! The perfect guitar amp, nothing sounds like it and nothing ever will! Arguably the greatest guitar amp of all time! Full electrolytic recap, original paper filter cap sleeves stuffed with new F&T’s, any out of spec resistors replaced, death cap removed grounded power installed, deeply cleaned every square inch of this thing inside and out as well! Nothing left to say, she’s perfect!
