With those two things understood, the Immerse Spatial Audio Production Suite is EMBODY's complete toolkit for mixing, monitoring and rendering surround and spatial audio on headphones inside Pro Tools, for film, television, music and games.

It is three AAX plug-ins. Immerse Panner places sound in three dimensions. Immerse Visualizer shows you the soundscape you have built, so spatial mixing can be read at a glance rather than guessed at. Immerse Virtual Studio does the monitoring, reproducing professional rooms on your headphones, including five Cat Studios rooms, The Magic Mix Room and Avid's Immersive Audio Lab.

The part that makes headphone monitoring credible is the Immerse AI Engine. A Head Related Transfer Function is the mathematical description of how your own head and ears colour sound arriving from a given direction, and generic ones are why spatial content on headphones often sounds wrong. EMBODY builds a profile unique to you from a photograph of your ear, which is what gives the depth, height and positional detail a generic profile cannot.
