Rogers - 1970s Paul “Jamo” Jamieson's 5x14" Wood Dyna-Sonic Snare Drum - Natural Refinish

Paul Jamieson is better known as “Jamo” to virtually every first call drummer and producer in Los Angeles. Starting in the early he 1970s was in top demand as a studio and touring drum tech and soon opened his now legendary Paul Jamieson Studio Rentals, providing top quality drum rentals and service to the exploding Los Angeles recording world. He worked closely with top drummers including Jeff Porcaro, Steve Smith, Tony Williams, Mick Fleetwood, Steve Ferrone, Steven Adler, Phil Collins, Alex Van Halen, Steve Jordan and David Garibaldi. He supported artists including Mariah Carey, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Heart and John Mayer. Top producers and engineers like David Foster, Marc Ronson, Al Schmidt, Ron Nevison and Nico Bolas all consider Jamo as part of their studio “A-Team.” Think that’s a pretty impressive list? It barely scratches the surface.

5x14" Wood Dyna-Sonic Snare Drum 1970s - Natural Refinish

This particular wood-shell Dyna-Sonic comes from the personal and professional collection of Paul “Jamo” Jamieson, renowned drum builder, technician and owner of Studio Drum Rentals in North Hollywood.

The original wrapped finish was removed and the shell refinished with a burled maple veneer. The outer veneer has cracked and curled over its yeas in service. The original Dyna-Sonic wood shell remains in excellent condition. The original Rogers badge is long gone. His name and other handwritten notations remain inside the shell, and the drum comes with Jamo's original road-worn and prominently stenciled hard case.

The original Rogers hoops have been replaced with die-cast hoops.

Includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Paul Jamieson.
