Here for sale we have a Rickenbacker 360 semi-hollow electric guitar in Mapleglo finish. Made in the USA in 2005, this guitar features a set neck construction comprising a Maple body, 3-piece Maple and Walnut neck and 24 fret Lacquered Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Chrome hardware including the classic 'R' tailpiece, 6-saddle bridge and Schaller sealed tuning machines. The pickups in this guitar are a pair of Rickenbacker hi-gain single-coils, wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volume and tone controls, and a blend knob for balancing the sound in the middle position. 

The guitar is refreshing to play, its wide body giving something reassuring to hold onto while the double cutaway gives easy access to the entire fingerboard, even up to the 24th fret. The frets are quite small, and pair well with the 10" fingerboard radius for great feeling chordal work and practicality for lead lines and bends, whilst the Lacquered Rosewood fingerboard feels great under the fingers. The chunky neck shape is substantial in the hand without being cumbersome, with quicker playing feeling natural thanks to the smooth gloss finish to the rear.

Unplugged, the 360 has a bright, clear and resonant sound thanks to its semi-hollow Maple construction. This can be clearly heard when amplified. The Hi-Gain single coil pickups provide all of the jangle that you would expect from a Rickenbacker. They sound clear, with plenty of chime while still feeling full bodied, and handling a surprising amount of gain. The 360 responds well to overdrive, feeling quite lively, yet stable, due to its centre block. This guitar would be great for someone looking for a classic reissue that offers something truly unique.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. A light indentation to the rear can be seen towards the bottom below the 1st & 6th E tuners. A very light scuff mark to the top front edge is visible under close inspection. Very light scratching to all aspects is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the sides of the headstock, consistent with the use of a string winder. 

Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentation to the rear of the neck is most notable behind frets 4-5. These can be lightly felt in the playing position but do not impact the overall playability of the instrument. The fingerboard demonstrates light scratching when viewed under direct light & close scrutiny. Some very light discoloration of the finish is present at the bass side of the heel. 

Body: Overall very good condition. Very light indentation which does not pierce the finish is scattered inconsistently around the rear face, with a further very light indentation to the front face near the bridge pickup. Very light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Light flattening of the frets is apparent in the early register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/4" socket) not included.

Hardware: Excellent condition.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
