Original-era Budda Bud-Wah in the classic purple hammertone/chrome finish, complete with its original box bearing the matching serial number, AA52D728.

The Bud-Wah is known for its smooth, vocal sweep, pronounced midrange character, and warm, musical top end. Compared with many traditional wahs, it has a less harsh, less nasal character at the toe-down end, making it especially well suited for expressive lead work, rock, blues, and funk.

This example features the earlier Budda circuit design with a large toroidal inductor and all-analog construction. The bottom plate identifies it as designed by Budda Amplification in San Rafael, California. Powered by a 9V battery or standard center-negative 9V DC supply.
