Steinberg Dorico Pro 6 with Iconica Opus and Etude Bundle (Activation Card)

This is Steinberg's scoring bundle: Dorico Pro 6, the full professional edition of their notation and composition software, together with Iconica Opus, the complete 190 GB orchestral library, and Etude, a sampled Yamaha C3X grand piano. It is the notation program and the sounds to play it back, bought once.

The arithmetic is the argument. At Steinberg's own prices Dorico Pro 6 is $579.99, Iconica Opus is $999.99 and Etude is $99.99, which comes to $1,679.97 bought separately. The bundle is $1,219.99, so it saves $459.98 over buying the three one at a time.

Dorico Pro 6 is the professional tier, not Elements or the free SE. It adds custom page layout, custom key signatures, accidentals, noteheads, playing techniques and music fonts, customizable Notation and Engraving Options, and the engraving control that publishers need. Version 6 adds a Proofreading panel that checks the score as you edit and flags what would raise questions in a rehearsal, single-click cutaway scores, cycle playback for looping a section while you edit, multiple rows of chord symbols with extender lines, and a jump bar that reaches any of Dorico's options by typing a keyword or two.

Iconica Opus is what makes the playback worth listening to. It is both halves of the Iconica library, Sections and Players plus Ensembles, recorded at Funkhaus Berlin Studio 2 with Orchestral Tools, and it runs in the free HALion Sonic 7 player, so a full HALion licence is not required. Etude adds the piano.
