Here’s a fantastic semi- DARK sounding THINNER 20” SIZZLE Ride Crash - and 70-years-old.
Terrific stick definition on this one - especially for a sizzle.
Hand Hammered with a super old school look and tone.
This particular 20” is wonderfully aged, semi-dry with a light complexity compliments of that 1950s Hand Hammering, overall medium dark with a soft and delicate wash and feel.
The overtones are mellow and in the medium-low range - this beauty could even pass as a 22”.
LIGHT feel and it still remains controlled because it’s mellowed 7 decades.
At 2095 grams it delivers a semi-dry, with a focused stick attack followed with an airy, rain-on-the-roof sizzle. Very responsive.
