Istanbul AGOP Traditional CHINA 22” and a wonderfully thin 1684 grams. Super clean too! And there’s no guessing at tone. Listening to away to this exact beauty.
Fully lathed golden Traditional lathing. Beautifully Hand Hammered out to the edge with gorgeous ball-peen style hammering on the wide lip.
Massive 3.5” flanged lip that is easily bendable and ripe for striking. Rounded over Swish-style bell.
At a Paperthin weight of 1684 grams, this Istanbul Agop is extremely responsive, thin, wonderfully low-pitched, very, very DARK, and has a smoky, complex wash.
Perfect for accents or as an alternate ride. Great at lower volumes but when you kick that edge it roars - all nearly 2 feet of it.
