As this is a pre-owned item, there are some scratches and signs of use, but none that affect the sound quality.
Since its debut in 1975, this has been Sonor's most acclaimed snare drum worldwide. Although production was once discontinued in 1990, the snare drum is currently being manufactured again exclusively for the Japanese market.
It features a beech wood shell with Palissander Rosewood veneers on both the interior and exterior. While the character is bright and punchy, it also possesses a solid, composed core. It delivers a unique Sonor sound—combining overwhelming power with rich dynamics—that sets it apart from other manufacturers. This is a versatile, all-around snare suitable for everything from wind ensembles and orchestras to rock and jazz.
