The Frontman 10G is the bedroom practice amp, and it is honest about what it is. Ten watts of solid state through one 6 inch Fender Special Design speaker, a single quarter inch input, and a cabinet of 7-ply medium-density fibreboard.
This is the amp that comes home with a first guitar. It makes noise at a reasonable volume, it survives being knocked over, and it costs less than a set of strings on a good week.
What it will not do is fill a room or take a pedalboard seriously. When that becomes the problem, the Champion II 25 is the next step up.
