For fans of the Slant Cab style and tone (but a 4x12 is too much), the Rectifier 2x12 Vertical Slant delivers. With roughly the same interior area as the Horizontal 2x12 Recto cab, the overall tone, punch and detail is similar, but some players prefer a slant-style cabinet for the 'monitor' effect from the top speaker sloping upwards. When you can't bring a 4x12 to the gig or session, the 2x12 Recto Vertical Slant Cab easily provides a similar sonic footprint, without the size & weight and it's styling and huge tone will probably fool most folks into thinking it IS a 4x12.

You simply won't find a better cabinet. All Mesa enclosures are made using the finest void-free, marine grade Baltic birch. Super strong rabbet corners are glued and nailed. Speaker baffles are fitted with superior dado joint construction and braced. Grilles are wrapped around a separate grille board, not the baffle board. Grille material is made of strong twisted jute dipped in a special coating that filters top end for a sweeter response.
