The cabinet has been recovered in fresh black tolex and some new official Fender hardware, giving it a clean appearance while maintaining its vintage character.

Condition
The amp is in excellent overall condition and sounds exactly as a great Twin Reverb should: huge clean headroom, sparkling highs, rich lows, and plenty of volume for stage, studio, or pedal platforms. This Twin Reverb retains its original matching CTS speakers and original Schumacher transformers. It is equipped with Sovtek 6L6GB power tubes and is fully functional with strong output, lush spring reverb, and classic Fender vibrato. The foot switch RCA connectors were replaced due to age-related wear. The “roach” for the vibrato was also replaced in the amp head. These repairs were performed to restore reliable operation. The reverb and vibrato features function properly.
All controls function properly, and the amp has been well cared for throughout its life.
Why Buy a Twin Reverb?
The late-'70s 135-Watt Twin Reverb is one of the loudest, cleanest tube amplifiers Fender ever produced. It remains a favorite among players looking for:
- Pristine clean tones
- Outstanding pedal compatibility
- Classic Fender reverb and tremolo
- Exceptional reliability
Whether you're a collector, gigging musician, or studio player, this Twin delivers the classic Fender sound in a highly original package.
Shipping is available at the buyer’s expense. However, local pickup is available as well.
Seller note: Original matching CTS speakers and original transformers are becoming increasingly difficult to find together in these amps, making this a particularly desirable player-grade vintage Twin Reverb.
