The Tama SLP snares are highly underrated. They offer the best bang for the money in my humble opinion.
The drum is outfitted with super sensitive Hi-Carbon Snappy Snares, Sound Arc Hoops, and brass tube lugs which results in a fully open and resonant sounding drum.
This snare drum has a classic maple sound that is warm, full bodied, sharp, and articulate. This is a versatile workhorse snare drum perfect for all genres of music.
