Fender Mexican Player Stratocaster MX21094674 - Fender 75th Anniversary Model

I bought this recently. It really is a lovely guitar, and a dream to play. The colour (Tidepool) I think is beautiful, and certainly different. You don’t see these as often as you do some colours. I played it recently at an Open Mic evening and the interest shown in it was amazing. The only problem is I saw a Classic 1970s Mexican Strat in a Natural Colour that I bought, so with me it’s one in – one out. Ironically it is nowhere as good as this to play, but there is a story attached to the 70s one.

It was built in May 2021 according to the Serial Number. Condition wise it has not had much playing over the years. There is little fret wear, and the set up is brilliant. I think it has 9-42s string wise. There are a couple of small digs close to the bridge and top edge that although the paint has not chipped, are visible. There’s a couple of other minor marks and scuffs, but nothing serious. Electrics are all fine. Comes with a Quality Fender Gig Bag which the rear carry straps are missing, so you have to carry it by the handles.

This is the official spec from Fender...
