Up for sale is a beautiful, performance-matched vintage pair of Altec Lansing 511B Sectoral Horns complete with Altec 808-8A high-frequency compression drivers.
Known as the crown jewel of classic high-efficiency monitor audio systems and the iconic "Voice of the Theatre" lineage, these setups offer unrivaled realism, smooth high-frequency dispersion, and unmatched vocal presence.
The Holy Grail Feature: Original Diaphragms Unlike most vintage units on the market that have been butchered with cheap, harsh aftermarket replacements, these 808-8A drivers appear to house their original factory-installed diaphragms completely intact. This delivers the true, signature warm analog sound profile that Altec engineers intended.

Cosmetic & Physical Condition:Horns: Structural integrity is perfect with zero cracks or metal fatigue to the heavy cast-metal structures. Notice two clean-cut mounting holes cut by the builder of the cabs that the horns were removed from. Seller does not anticipate impact to the audio signal from these mounting holes. Noticed mounting holes are away from the weld and do not structurally impact the aluminum frame. the exterior of unit one is slightly better than exterior two, which has heavy chipping on the white paint finish over the aluminum. Unit two has typical weathering marks consistent with original vintage age—perfect authentic patina, or an easy candidate for a cosmetic Condition spray restoration if desired.
