Vintage Ludwig 14x12 Marching Snare Drum White Monroe USA #3180885 w/ Strap

Up for sale is a vintage Ludwig 14" x 12" marching snare drum in a Vintage Off-White / Ivory. This is a USA-made Ludwig, with the badge marked Ludwig Drum Co., Monroe, N.C., U.S.A. and serial number 3180885.

The drum is used and in playable/usable condition. It has been previously played and shows normal cosmetic wear from age and use, including small scratches, dings, scuffs, marks, and some wear/oxidation on the chrome hardware. The drumheads also show visible wear from previous use. Please see all photos for the exact condition.

The drum features Ludwig's marching-style hardware with long tension lugs, chrome hoops, internal snare system, and marching/carrying hardware. The snare mechanism and hardware are shown in detail in the photos.

A white marching drum strap with metal clips is included, as pictured.

Condition

This is an older, previously used drum and does show signs of its age. There are small scratches, dings, scuffs and other cosmetic marks throughout, along with wear to the chrome hardware. The heads have visible playing wear and aging. Despite the cosmetic wear, the drum is usable/playable.

This would be a great choice for someone looking for an older USA-made Ludwig marching drum, whether for playing, restoration, a marching percussion collection, or vintage Ludwig collection.
