Vintage Raezer's Edge Twin-8 2001

2001 Raezer's Edge Twin-8 Cabinet - MINT Condition - Vintage

From late founder Rich Raezer's era. Rich was a musician who designed and made speaker cabinets in his Mid-Atlantic workshop until his passing in 2005. The business was then sold and moved to a factory in Hartland, Wisconsin. The cabinet comes complete with Rich's brass plaque where he included his phone number.

I am the original owner. The cabinet has never been moved/used outside my home studio. It is like new. There are no marks, scars, etc. on either the cabinet or the grill cloth. It comes with the original vinyl cover which has no wear but is wrinkled from being in my closet 25 years.

This is the original Twin-8. It is NOT the lightweight model currently being marketed. (Which explains the pricey shipping, which Reverb calculates based on your location.)

These speakers sound great with my hollow bodies, acoustics, and even my Tele's. They were designed for tones from clean to Wes Montgomery smoke - not made for crunch or distortion.

4 ohms, 200w. Two 8-inch speakers - I was told they are Eminence 8A's but I have never opened the cabinet. It does NOT have the adjustable tweeter (which is part of the modern Extended Range option.)

Mint condition cabinets from Rich Raezer's workshop don't come along often. I am only selling because I am downsizing my collection due to age.
