1950's Martin Style 2 Ukelele Natural
Up for sale, a lovely 1950s Martin Style 2 ukulele, all mahogany construction, with back, sides, top, and neck all in mahogany and a fretboard of genuine Brazilian rosewood.
The instrument is in excellent overall condition for its age and plays beautifully, staying in tune reliably and sounding great. The original tuners have at some point been swapped for newer replacements, which has only improved tuning stability.
On the back there is a small, stable hairline crack, the kind of honest wear you'd expect to find on a uke pushing seventy years old, and it's worth noting that a luthier who inspected it recommended leaving it exactly as is, since it has shown no movement or growth over time and any repair work would be purely cosmetic rather than necessary.
These instruments were built to last, and this one has proven it. It comes with its original chipboard hard case, itself in excellent shape.
It ships out to Continental US and select International destinations.
