Up for sale is my 2011 Fender American Standard Stratocaster in Pewter with a maple fingerboard. This is a USA-made American Standard that’s been well cared for and upgraded with a couple of excellent player-focused additions.

The original pickups have been upgraded to Fender Texas Special single-coil pickups, giving the guitar a hotter, punchier version of the classic Strat sound while still retaining the clarity, sparkle, and responsiveness you’d expect from a great Strat.

It has also been upgraded with locking tuners, which provide improved tuning stability and make string changes quick and easy.

Condition is excellent. The guitar has been well cared for, the electronics function as they should, and it plays and sounds great. It’s an extremely versatile Strat that can cover everything from clean, glassy tones to blues and rock.

The Pewter finish paired with the maple fingerboard is a great-looking combination, and the Texas Specials and locking tuners are useful upgrades that make this an excellent player’s Strat.

I’m selling it simply because I’m consolidating some of my guitars, not because of any issues with the instrument.
