Up for sale is a 1968 Guild F-30 Aragon in the classic Sunburst finish. This is a really cool, honest vintage Guild with the kind of wear and patina you hope to see on a guitar that’s actually been played and enjoyed.

The finish has plenty of well earned vintage wear in all the right places—checking, scratches, dings, scuffs and general signs of a long musical life. Nothing here is being presented as mint or collector grade. Fret wear ain’t bad tbh. Please look closely at all of the photos.

More importantly, this guitar sounds excellent. It has a surprisingly strong voice for its size and projects much better than you might expect, with that dry, woody vintage character that makes these old Guilds so appealing. It’s particularly well suited to cowboy chords, strumming and old-school singer-songwriter playing.

The guitar is playable as it sits, but I believe it will ultimately want a neck reset to really get it right. Consider that when evaluating the guitar and price. This is a great candidate for someone who appreciates vintage instruments and doesn't mind putting some work into getting an old guitar dialed in.
