We just received this Very RARE Gibson made Kalamazoo tenor guitar in good condition. There was a crack in the back that has been professionally repaired years ago with four diamond braces glued inside. There is also a crack on the front that was repaired with a similar diamond wood brace glued inside under the front that can be viewed with a mirror and flashlight. The is one large ding on the front below the bridge about 1/2 inch and there are numerous small nicks and dings. There is extensive finish checking. The end of the bridge is cracked. It reminds me of an employee that used remove the bridge to to file and sand the back in order to lower the action. This guitar has good action.

The binding is in great condition AND the frets are surprisingly also in great condition.

The guitar alone weighs 2 lb 12.2 oz It is 36.5 inches long. The upper bout is 10 inches wide and the lower bout is 14 3/4 inches. It is 3 1/3 inches wide at the top and 4 inches wide at the bottom.

We will ship in what could have been the original chipboard case that is in fair condition.
