Selling a Lefty/Left-handed -these don’t come up too often!

This is an a 1980’s E series Made In Japan Fender Stratocaster. I recently had it fully set up with 10s at Chicago Fret Works, so it plays perfectly right now!

I do not know the exact year but the E series were made between a specific date range, I believe 1983 - 1986.

This is what I would called a player/collector. It comes with installed left handed Bare Knuckle Brawler Mother’s Milk pickups (think John Frusciante’s 1962 Stratocaster) in a mint green pickguard and is a beautiful player. I changed the pickup covers on them to match as well.

It also comes with the original pick guard and pickups that I purchased with the guitar. It does appear that the original bridge pickup was replaced at some point though.

It is not mint, please see the marks below the bridge, where it looks like a Floyd Rose was installed at some point. It makes this guitar have a seriously cool vibe, probably played in punk shows in clubs through Japan in the 80s and 90s.

There are a few upgrades to note:

• Bare Knuckle Mother's Milk pickups
• Callaham vintage bridge
• Locking tuners
  

But as a vintage 80’s Japanese strat, it plays beautifully. Take a look at the photo showing the thick rosewood board (I think it's a slab board, but not sure). Note in little wear there is on the frets and the intonation is on point. This guitar sounds glorious through vintage Fenders, Marshalls, Supros etc. The volume/tone knobs are the most responsive of any guitar I have ever played as well.

I'll ship the guitar with a gig bag, I don't have a hard case at the moment.
