Nice unit. I had a tech install new LED lamps and go over it. Perhaps has a funny quirk with the stereo light staying on with a weak antenna installed. Also it will need speaker wire adapters or you can get creative. I even just plugged speaker wire into the slots and it worked for me.
Tech said this about his work on it:
"Hey I got a chance to work on that Pioneer, and at first, I thought the muting didn't work, and the stereo light was stuck on. However, with the antenna disconnected, muting works, and a few stations come in, and the stereo light works as it should. Here's what I did so far:
Installed LED fuse lamps for the dial, and 5mm LED's for the indicator
Cleaned the scratchy controls. They had to come out to get to them.
