The AMS Neve 8801 is a 1U rackmount channel strip featuring a transformer-coupled mic preamp, 4-band parametric EQ, and 88R-style dynamics processing (compressor and gate). Hand-built in Burnley, England, it packs legendary console circuitry with flexible signal routing and USB-based Total Recall software.

• Dynamics: VCA compressor/limiter and a separate gate/expander with sidechain linking capabilities.
• Equalization: 4-band parametric EQ offering musical high/low shelves and fully adjustable mid-bands with Q controls.
• Audio Router: Fully configurable internal signal path allowing users to change the order of the EQ, dynamics, and insert points, or route filters/EQ into the sidechain.
• Software Integration: USB connection enabling Neve Recall software for saving and recalling hardware settings on Mac and PC.
