1965 AC-50/4 Mk III 2-Channel 50 Watt Guitar and Bass Amplifier Head - SUPER CLEAN

Up for sale, this is a vintage 1965 Vox AC-50 MKIII, a two channel, 50 watt amplifier head made by Jennings Musical Industries in England, a SUPER CLEAN, Collector's Grade example of this model.

It retains its original output and mains transformers, which is genuinely rare at this point since most surviving AC50s from this era have had one or both replaced over the decades, along with original tolex, grille cloth, XLR type speaker output, 4 pin DIN power cord, and leather cover, all in excellent condition with only very minimal play wear. It sits in the large box head cabinet with JMI's slider tray chassis for easy servicing. Tubes are Mullard and RCA's. The amp sounds incredible as you can expect.

This head came as part of the Bass Foundation rig, though it is circuit for circuit the same amp used in the Super Twin guitar configuration, the difference is only in the cabinet and speakers, not the amplifier. The matching Foundation 1x18' bass cabinet is listed separately and available as a combo, which includes the original Goodmans Audiom 91 18"speaker cable and the cabinet's original cover.

This is a genuinely all original, Collector's Grade, early JMI built AC50.
