The Korg minilogue XD is a powerful 4-voice polyphonic hybrid synthesizer that combines the warm, expressive character of analog synthesis with the incredible versatility of Korg’s digital Multi-Engine. With built-in effects, a flexible sequencer, multiple voice modes, and micro-tuning capabilities, the minilogue XD puts an extensive sound-design system right at your fingertips.

Building on the popular analog architecture of the original minilogue, the minilogue XD takes its sound and creative potential even further. Each voice combines two analog oscillators with a third digital oscillator, giving you an impressive range of sounds—from classic analog leads, basses, and pads to complex digital textures and experimental tones.

Digital Multi-Engine

Borrowed from Korg’s flagship Prologue synthesizer, the digital Multi-Engine dramatically expands the minilogue XD’s sonic possibilities. It provides three oscillator types:

• Noise Generator – Four types of noise for percussion, effects, textures, and sound design.
• VPM/FM Oscillator – Creates bright, metallic, harmonic, and evolving digital tones.
• User Oscillator – Load custom oscillator programs for virtually unlimited sound possibilities, with 16 user oscillator slots available.

The digital engine can be layered with the two analog oscillators in each voice, allowing you to create sounds that go far beyond traditional analog synthesis.

Built-In Effects & Sound Processing

The minilogue XD features powerful stereo effects powered by 32-bit floating-point processing. Add depth and character to your patches with onboard modulation, delay, and reverb effects without needing additional external equipment.

Flexible Voice Modes

The minilogue XD gives you several ways to play and perform:

• Poly Mode – Play up to four notes simultaneously.
• Unison Mode – Stack all four voices together for powerful monophonic sounds.
• Chord Mode – Trigger full chords with a single key.
• Arp/Latch Mode – Create rhythmic patterns with the built-in arpeggiator and keep them running with the convenient latch function.

The arpeggiator can also operate while the sequencer is running, making the minilogue XD equally useful for studio production and live performance.

Powerful Sequencer

The built-in motion step sequencer provides an intuitive way to create evolving patterns and sequences. Motion sequencing allows parameter changes to be recorded and played back, bringing movement and animation to your sounds.
