Pair of vintage Telefunken ECC83 / 12AX7 tubes. Long gray ribbed plates, halo getters, and the authentic Telefunken diamond (<>) molded into the glass between the pins. Both marked Made in West Germany and printed GAP Computor Tube (George A. Philbrick Researchers industrial/computer-selected stock).
Tested on a Precision 10-12:
Tube 1: 88 / 100 and 90 / 100
Tube 2: 88 / 100 and 88 / 100
These are strong used readings on this tester and well above typical “minimum good.” No shorts reported. Pins are straight. Getter flash and glass look good in the photos.
These are the sought-after long-ribbed-plate West German Telefunkens. Good for guitar amp preamp stages, hi-fi preamps, phono stages, or analog-computer / industrial use.
