SUPER RARE 1979 Vintage Paiste 602 20” CHINA TYPE Pang Swish

One of the cleanest you’ll ever find! It’s hard to believe this thing is nearly half a century old!
Made famous by Paul Motian, Mick Fleetwood, Ndugu, Aynsley Dunbar and many others.

Vintage Black Label PAISTE 602 20” China Type in absolutely Amazing Condition. As close to NOS New Old Stock as I’ve ever seen.
Several features make this Vintage 602 stand out.
The large rounded-over bell.
Umbrella-like profile that flattens out towards the edge.
Superfine and thin lathing - looks even thinner than a Giant Beat.
Massive 3.5” lip that flattens out and goes straight at the edge.
All of these features make this Vintage 602 VERY PANG-like looking and SOUNDING.
This is the closest Paiste I have ever heard to that, mellow, smooth, exotic, and complex warm tone associated with a PANG.
Most Paiste Chinas have a biting attack and a bit of a metallic clank - that’s just how they make their chinas.
Not this one. This 20” is a totally different tone.

Perfect as a China or alternate Swish Ride. It’s mellow and has a generous playing field.
No one has this beauty! Love it. Keep it in great shape and it will continue to appreciate. Definitely collectible! It’s a miracle it’s in such good shape!
The regular ass big box store re-issue one is $720. It’s a hell of a lot more fun to play the Rare ICONIC ORIGINAL!
Collectible. Outside of a Time Machine this one is most likely the cleanest you’ll ever find.
