Selling my lovingly used Pioneer DJ XDJ-XZ Professional All-in-One DJ System with its rolling black hardshell flight case.

Manufactured February 2020, currently running firmware Ver 1.25 (free update available from AlphaTheta if you want the latest). This has been my working rig — it's played real gigs, including desert festival runs, and the case wear reflects that. The unit itself has been well cared for: cleaned regularly, transported exclusively in the case, never left sitting out in a booth overnight.

WHAT IT IS

Full club-standard, laptop-optional setup. 4-channel mixer, two full-size mechanical jog wheels with on-jog displays, 7-inch touchscreen, Sound Color FX and Beat FX with X-PAD, eight performance pads per deck. Plays standalone straight off USB, or runs as a controller for rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro — both supported natively, no paid unlock.

The rear panel is why this thing goes anywhere: XLR Master 1, RCA Master 2, balanced TRS booth out, send/return, two combo XLR/TRS mic inputs with independent EQ and a feedback reducer, phono/line switchable CH3 and CH4 for turntables or external players, AUX in, and two LINK ports.

CONDITION — PLEASE READ

One known fault: the CALL ▶ (LOOP 2X) button on Deck 1 does not respond. It's circled in red in the photos. It will need servicing to properly repair. In practice it's easy to work around using hot cues and the other loop controls, and I've gigged with it this way without issue — but I want it disclosed clearly up front, and it's reflected in the price.

Everything else functions as it should. All faders, EQs, and trims are clean and smooth. Screen is bright with no dead pixels. Both jog wheels track properly. Both USB ports read reliably — they show cosmetic wear around the openings from years of drive swaps, but they work.

Cosmetically the unit is in good used condition with normal booth wear. The case is well-worn: scuffed ball corners with paint loss, scratches and paint marks along the aluminum extrusion, and general scrape marks across the panels. It's structurally sound, everything latches, and it rolls fine — but it looks like what it is, a case that's been to a lot of shows. The photos show it honestly.

The faders and knobs currently wear third-party Chroma Caps — purple EQs, orange channel faders and Color FX. 

HOW I PRICED THIS

I'd rather be upfront about how I landed on the number than haggle in DMs.

A clean, gigged XZ runs about $1,700 private-party right now. The ProX case adds maybe $150 — they're $359 new, and a beat one still saves you real money over buying one. From there I subtracted $200–300 for the dead CALL/LOOP 2X button, since you'll be pricing in a repair you may or may not ever bother with, and another $100 for the heavy cosmetic wear and the worn USB ports.

On that button: I tried to get a service quote before listing and couldn't get one back in a reasonable timeframe, so I'm not going to guess at a number for you. It's priced as-is, on the assumption that fixing it is on your dime if you decide it's worth doing. I've gigged it in this condition without trouble by working around it with hot cues.

That's the math. The price is fair and I'm open to a reasonable offer, but I'm not starting from a number I already discounted.
