An 18" Chau gong, hand-hammered bronze with the traditional black-lacquered centre dot. The Chau is the classic swelling gong of film scores and Chinese opera: strike it and the note blooms for a second or two before it peaks. Eighteen inches hangs from a light stand and suits kit setups, percussion rigs, and meditation use alike.

Hand-made and hand-hammered, so each one has its own character. Mallet and stand sold separately.
