For Sale: Sansui P-1 Equalizer (Professional Series – 1980s)

IMPORTANT: Offered for sale is a Sansui P-1 equalizer from Sansui’s professional series. This is a beautiful and rare unit that is seldom seen on the market today. At the time, its public sale was available only by special order through authorized Sansui representatives.

Special Serial Number:

This unit features a very special serial number. According to the serial, it dates to September 1982 and corresponds to unit 0006 of its production batch, making it an especially rare and collectible example.

Cosmetically, it shows minimal scratches consistent with age. The top cover has been refinished with baked (oven-cured) paint, achieving results very similar to the original finish. There are marks on each corner, as the unit was previously installed in a 19-inch audio rack. The unit powers on but is being sold untested. Some of the front-panel buttons are slightly bent, but this does not appear to affect their operation.
