This head is suitable for drum collectors, recording studios, and vintage restoration specialists: a pristine, New-Old-Stock vintage 1970s Ludwig Weathermaster 16" Snare Side resonant drumhead. This is the factory-original extra-thin 3-mil model (db-300) engineered explicitly for bottom-hoop snare wire sensitivity. It features the classic 1970s red ink block logo with the iconic horizontal underline cutting from the "L" to the "g", and the crisp "S-SNARE: db-300" identifier stamp cleanly preserved.

The rare 16" ultra-thin clear film delivers an incredibly sensitive, crisp, and articulate snare wire response, perfect for oversized 16" field snares, parade marching drums, or custom studio floor tom-snare conversions. The low-profile aluminum hoop is perfectly in-round, flat, and un-warped.

📦 Packing & Shipping Protection:
The head has been safely sealed inside a 3mil protective sleeve to lock out ambient moisture and dust. It will be packed flat and between cardboard panels to protect against transit warping or flexing. Ships fully insured with direct carrier tracking throughout.
