For sale is an AKG C535 that sounds incredible and is truly a classic that everyone should own in their mic locker! I would see no reason to spend an extra 300+ on an AKG C636 when the 535 features a 4 step HPF in comparison and the same exact sound. Keep in mind this C535 was tested against others of the same model to verify it is in perfect working order (full frequency response).
Inside the grille, there is brand-new foam, so you will not need to deal with odd smells or foam falling apart. There is light wear to the paint in a few areas, all of it is cosmetic and rather light in terms of wear. Lastly, you will also be receiving a compatible mic clip, so you'll not need to do a single thing before using this gem.
