Ross pedals was one of the best made and sounding of the 70's. Ross's trick was to take pedals that were around by Boss and MXR and tweak them to sound how they felt was better. Basically creating alternate versions of classic designs. it's sort of what Lovepedal does with his many iterations of different COT, Chula, and, zendrive pedals. The Ross flanger is a copy of the MXR flanger. Using the same 4 control knob layout. But tone Is where the similarities end. The Ross sounds warmer than the MXR. But behaves in much the same way. It's described as giving you the Heart Barracuda flange type sound. It can definitely get you there. No digital pedal can compete with the vintage sound of these analog bucket brigade devices. Here is a chance to grab one.
This Ross flanger is in excellent condition. Face is almost perfect except for a scratch between the speed and recycle knobs. It’s been modded to TB. True bypass to keep you guitars original tone without loading it down. Sale is for pedal only. No original box

Core Design and Hardware
Analog Circuitry: Utilizes the rare Reticon SAD1024A bucket-brigade analog delay chip alongside four RC4558 chips for a warm, organic voice.
Build Quality: Housed in a heavy, rugged enclosure often styled in red or black. A quick operational guide was famously printed directly on the bottom label of the chassis.
Power Requirement: Frequently hardwired or designed for specific AC/wall power configurations depending on the exact production run.
Control Layout
Rate: Adjusts the speed of the LFO wave controlling the sweep.
Man/Auto: Controls the resonance intensity and overall depth of the flanging effect.
Manual: Sets the base frequency or manual delay time position for fixed filter or custom sweep ranges.
Recycle: Feeds the signal back into the circuit to exaggerate the metallic, swirling "whoosh".
