I’m downsizing and offering up for sale these wonderful Sphere 920 graphic EQ’s. This pair is one of 15 racked by Jon Erickson at Helsing Audio. I purchased these directly from Jon in 2006 and have been in my rack ever since.

The Sphere 920 graphic equalizer is the top of the line of Sphere graphic eq. Very smooth and musical. 11 Bands of inductor equalization with thumbwheel high pass filter, switchable peaking or shelf on the high and low bands, phase reverse with a Reichenbach inductor for each band including the thumbwheel filter. These modules came out of a Sphere Eclipse C console. It features the optional booster amplifier that Jon set at unity gain, but it can provide more gain if required. There is a trim pot inside the unit for fine tuning the gain between the two channels. They are mounted in a beautifully powder coated custom steel one space housing with an internal power supply built specifically for these modules.

These plug and play with XLR in/out. They are fully functioning as they have been the entire time I’ve owned them. An exceptional piece of gear.

12db boost in 2 db steps

15db cut in 2 db steps except for -12 to -15

Each band uses a Reichenbach inductor. There is also a Reichenbach output transformer.
