Tama 24x14 Superstar Super Maple Bass Drum (Original Hoops, Legs, Mount)

This listing is for a used Tama Superstar 24x14 Bass Drum with the original matching hoops, legs, and tom mount. I purchased this drum around 8 years ago and it has been a mainstay of my collection since.

Cosmetically, the drum has all the classic wear - some lacquer checking, scarring from rack tom rub, wear at the pedal mount point etc… The upshot - it still tunes wonderfully, the original hoops have no separation to speak of, and the original hardware functions exactly as it should.

As you can see, this drum has been GIGGED. And there is a reason: it sounds colossal -warm, articulate and beefy under mics in both live and recording sessions. It has always delivered exactly what I’m looking for in a drum this size. It is very responsive to different heads and I’ll include a ported resonant for the purchaser.

I am selling because I recently acquired a 22 that accomplishes 80% of what this drum does. I’m running out of space and something has to go.
