Vintage BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, made in Japan in 1979.

The CE-1 is BOSS’s legendary first chorus pedal and one of the most important vintage modulation effects ever produced. It is based on the chorus/vibrato circuit lineage of the Roland JC series and is highly sought after for its rich, warm analog chorus sound.

This example is equipped with the vintage MN3002 BBD chip, clearly visible in the internal photos.

The unit has been tested and is working properly.

Both the chorus/vibrato effect and controls were checked during testing. Considering its age, this example remains in very nice cosmetic condition.

This is a vintage unit from 1979 and shows some age-related cosmetic wear, light scratches, marks, and signs of previous use.
