Based on commonly referenced BOSS serial-number dating information and known examples from this production period, this unit is estimated to date from approximately 1988.

This is an early Made in Japan DD-3 from the desirable vintage production period.

Early Japanese DD-3 pedals are sought after by players and collectors for their classic digital delay sound and their close relationship to the earlier BOSS DD-2 design.
