A lesser known archtop from the 70's, the Howard Roberts signature was a great addition to the Gibson archtop lineup, with a unique oval soundhole instead of the classic double f-hole design. The all maple body and maple neck adds a bright snappy quality while the floating pickup lets the acoustic side of this jazzbox shine. It plays great with no major wear besides light playwear throughout and some binding missing from the original pickguard.
Serial #400576, comes with the original case. The handle on the case has been replaced and one control knob is replaced with the original included in the case. Weighs 6.9lbs. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note.
