This is a beautiful Kanileʻa KSR-T Premium Tenor, handcrafted in Hawaii from stunning Premium Hawaiian Koa. The KSR-T has become increasingly difficult to find since Kanileʻa discontinued the model, and examples in this condition are rarely offered for sale.

As of this listing, I could only find one other KSR-T Premium available online — a brand-new example on eBay currently listed at $2,650. This is a chance to own the same discontinued model at a significantly better price.

The KSR-T is one of Kanileʻa’s most distinctive tenor designs, combining the traditional Hawaiian slotted-headstock look with Kanileʻa’s modern construction and resonance-focused TRU-R bracing system. The result is an exceptionally responsive, balanced and musical tenor with the projection and clarity Kanileʻa is known for.

The Premium Hawaiian Koa on this particular instrument is gorgeous, with the kind of figuring and variation that makes every Kanileʻa unique. This is not a generic production uke — the koa is the centerpiece of the instrument.

CONDITION

This ukulele is in excellent/mint condition and has been very well cared for. It has been kept in a humidity controlled room with my other acoustic guitars. I am the only owner of this instrument And it has never left the house.The photos are of the actual instrument you will receive and show the condition and beautiful koa figuring in detail.

It plays beautifully, sounds fantastic and is ready to go.

WHY THE KSR-T?

The KSR-T was one of Kanileʻa’s more distinctive models, and the combination of Premium Hawaiian Koa, slotted headstock, koa arm bevel and TRU-R bracing makes it particularly desirable.

The model has since been discontinued, so these are becoming much harder to find. A quick search of the current market shows very limited availability, with a new KSR-T Premium currently being offered elsewhere for $2,650.
