This is a gorgeous and RARE 1st Generation 19” Zildjian Kerope cymbal. These instruments are truly some of the closest to recapturing that Old K sound that Zildjian has ever produced. This cymbal offers a low fundamental pitch, a rich dark wash, and an articulate stick attack that blends well in jazz, studio, and low-to-medium volume settings. It’s been a mainstay in my studio for 11 years, and I cannot recommend it enough!
