Vintage unbranded 4-string banjo ukulele / banjolele, believed to date from approximately the 1920s–1930s.
This is a very cool early banjo uke featuring a metal-clad pot, wooden neck and fingerboard, friction-style tuners with aged buttons, floating wooden bridge, open-back construction, and vintage-style skin head.
No visible manufacturer name, logo, serial number, or identifying markings were found, so the exact maker and year are unknown.
The instrument shows plenty of honest age and patina, including finish wear, scratches, oxidation/tarnishing on the hardware, discoloration to the head, and other normal signs of use consistent with a vintage instrument of this age. Please review all photos carefully for the best representation of cosmetic condition.
The instrument appears largely complete, but due to its age it is being sold as-is as a vintage instrument. A setup, fresh strings, tuning adjustment, or other maintenance may be needed before regular playing.
A great piece for a vintage banjo/ukulele collection, restoration project, display, or player looking for an authentic old banjolele.
