Presented for your consideration is this Vintage 1973 Gibson Les Paul Recording guitar. The preferred choice of the man himself these low impedance pickups were his secret weapon until he finally decided to share them with the world. Unfortunately, the world wasn't ready for them and they still go unnoticed to this very day even though they are still thought by many to be years ahead of their time. The obligatory headstock repair has remained rock solid for decades. The guitar is completely original with only 2 exceptions. The clear coat has been removed from the back of the neck exposing a super smooth and non stick Mahogany finish. And, as you can see in the picture of my 3 Recording guitars together I have moved the pickup selector switch from the very inconvenient rear of the control plate to a much more user friendly spot on the guitar. There is also the addition of the period correct Bowen handle tremolo system with micro tuners. The original stop bar tailpiece is included. Truss rod functions perfectly and the electronics are clean and function as they should. Check my feedback and buy with confidence. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your interest and God bless our troops and first responders.
