2026 Gibson Custom Made 2 Measure ’57 Les Paul Reissue – Olive Drab

This 2026 Gibson Custom Shop Made 2 Measure ’57 Les Paul Reissue is a truly special instrument, combining the legendary construction and tone of Gibson’s iconic 1957 Les Paul with a rare and incredibly distinctive Olive Drab finish. The beautifully aged VOS nitrocellulose lacquer gives the finish exceptional depth and character, making this one of the most unique ’57 Reissues we’ve had come through Jam Session Guitars.

This guitar is in mint condition, having been removed from the box only for inspection, photography, and testing. The electronics function flawlessly and sound phenomenal. The guitar is exceptionally clean and presents exactly as you would expect from a brand-new Custom Shop instrument.

It includes the original Gibson Lifton hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, all case candy, and original Gibson shipping box.

Handcrafted by Gibson Custom’s elite luthiers, this M2M reissue faithfully captures the feel, construction, and character of an original 1957 Les Paul. The solid mahogany body and substantial ’57 C-profile mahogany neckprovide incredible sustain, resonance, and that unmistakable Les Paul feel. The Indian rosewood fingerboard adds a smooth, comfortable playing surface and completes the vintage-inspired construction.

The VOS nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Olive Drab gives this guitar a distinctive, understated look while maintaining the vintage character and attention to detail expected from Gibson Custom.

The Olive Drab finish is complemented by cellulose trapezoid inlays, vintage-style Kluson tuners, and historically accurate hardware and plastics, resulting in a remarkably convincing late-'50s-inspired instrument.

A pair of Gibson CustomBucker Alnico III unpotted humbuckers deliver remarkably authentic PAF-style tones. The neck pickup is warm, vocal, and articulate, while the bridge delivers bite, clarity, and rich harmonic complexity. The pickups are exceptionally dynamic, responding beautifully to pick attack, volume changes, and the natural breakup of a good tube amp.
