Wolfbox Motown Bass DI vintage 60s Triad 10J or 12J transformer direct box

Vintage spec motown wolfbox bass direct box with authentic vintage 1965 Triad 10J or 12J transformer (customer choice, message me after purchase). The 10J is pictured...also available with vintage 60s 12J in similar naturally worn vintage 60s condition. Triad 10J + 11J + 12J spec out nearly the same and sound it, just offering buyer a choice preference if they have one. Sweet smooth rich natural vintage bass tone ala james jamerson etc. Wired same as wolfbox in bass mode, without the unnecessary pad knob & switch not needed with bass (pad knob+switch were made to turn down higher level sources like electric keyboards or other higher level signals motown may have sometimes rarely used, but it was not used for bass which is a low level instrument level already, no need for pad). Also great on guitar direct, and fender rhodes, which is a low level high impedance as passive basses and guitars, again no need for pads, myself and another buyer use them on our Rhodes for great pure natural vintage rhodes tone without fuss.

All passive, no phantom power or battery required, plug and play, just send it to your interface and add gain in mic preamp mode to get up to line level in your DAW as every passive DI needs gain after. Whole unit and parts are made in USA using vintage spec parts including switchcraft front 1/4" jacks (IN + THRU), center ground lift switch (Lift UP ground DOWN) and rear XLR switchcraft output. The 1/4" IN + THRU jacks are identical and interchangeable, either can be used to plug your bass in or run back out thru to an amp for parallel blending a miced speaker (check for phase when doing so, you may need to flip phase of miced signal in your DAW as some amps are out of phase by design, if you decide to use the thru to amp and blend that with the DI, but the sound of this unit is the DI.
