Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul SG Standard Blue 2011 w/ Monty's Guitars PAF Pickups Raw Nickel Set

The Gibson SG, a classic model widely recognized as a rock icon and beloved across generations is
now available. This particular guitar is a 2011 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul SG Standard, weighing 2.81kg. In the rare and desirable Pelham Blue finish, it reproduces the characteristics of the early 1960s, with a traditional mahogany body and neck, a slightly larger headstock, and a truss rod cover engraved with "Les Paul." Vintage style Kluson-type tuners lead to a nice and dark rosewood fingerboard atop a wide, thin-grip 1961-style "C" neck profile.

The pickups have been replaced with "Monty's Guitars / Original PAF Humbucker Raw Nickel Set" (Please note that the original humbuckers are not included).

The "Original PAF Humbucker" set is boutique British winder Monty's flagship humbucker model. Aiming for a faithful reproduction of the PAF (Patent Applied For) pickups installed in 1958-1960 Les Paul Standards, it has been made as close to the original as currently possible.

In addition, the capacitors have been replaced with Monty's Guitars' "CAP" capacitors, and the wiring and nut have been modified to achieve a significant improvement in sound. This
popular model, known for its classic Gibson sound and the lightness and playability of its body shape, has been upgraded in-house, making it a ready-to-use SG that plays perfectly and sounds incredible.

Appearance/Condition: There are small scratches, dents, and abrasions all over the body and back. There are paint cracks on the binding on the side of the neck (they are so thin they are not visible in the photos). None of these affect playability or functionality. Some wiring has been repaired, and the pots and parts have been replaced for an upgrade.

When examining a truss rod on a straight neck, we check that it can turn up to about 45 degrees in both directions. When we say the truss rod can be adjusted, we mean it can be adjusted up to 45 degrees. Anything beyond that risks damaging the instrument.
