This Future Sound Systems Cric Brunel Limited Edition is truly in brand new condition. I am the first owner and I bought it 6 months ago. In the short time I've owned it I've treated it gently and played it sparingly. It is without a single mark or blemish and everything works as new. I'm very particular about my gear and always handle it carefully and take good care of it. The instrument has always been stored, covered when not in use, in a smoke/pet free climate controlled studio. What makes the Cric Brunel Limited Edition special:

• Limited run of just forty units worldwide
• The Brunel Edition gets its name from the designer of the SS Great Britain, a giant 1800s steam ship from which the Cric Brunel Edition gets its reclaimed Australian Jarrah wood panels.
• The wood for the Cric Brunel Edition end cheeks is Australian Jarrah and was reclaimed from the refurbishment of the SS Great Britain in 1970, when the ship sailed from the Falkland Islands to its current home in Bristol.
• The wood was supplied to Steadfast as salvage from the Bristol Wood Recycling Project, meaning that no additional trees have been felled to produce the Brunel edition.
• Why Brunel? Like Future Sound Systems, he's inextricably linked to Bristol. Designer of the SS Great Britain which was the first iron steamboat to cross the Atlantic. He only ever appeared in monochromatic photographs so the black/white colorway seemed a good fit.
• Cric is far from yet-another-monosynth but the heart of an analogue electronic music studio. Rock solid VCOs give the user pitch precision and FM flexibility. A comprehensive filter section affords timbral sculpting from basic filtering to total transformation of incoming tones. Four cyclical function generators can be used as envelopes, LFOs or audible VCOs.
• Pin matrix patching allows for the synthesizer to be configured as a traditional 3 * VCO mono-synth, a paraphonic synthesizer, a drum machine, a noise and drone box, and so the list goes on. Four inputs and outputs with a microphone preamplifier on input 1 allow for audio processing, external CV control, feedback routing and much more.
