Up for sale is my 1997 Fender Telecaster ‘52 reissue (TL52-80TX) in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. An uncommon first-year iteration of the TL52-80TX model, this example is notable for retaining "Made in Japan" branding. These came stock with USA-made Texas Specials, which sound incredible.
These MIJ guitars are an incredible value for the money. This particular guitar weighs 7lbs 6 oz and is setup and ready to rock.
The one-ply black pickguard has a bit of pick swirling, but nothing super noticeable. No dings or gashes anywhere on neck or body. This guitar has been kept in excellent condition and will ship expertly packaged along with its original MIJ gigbag.
