2010 Gibson USA Slash Appetite for Destruction AFD Les Paul - Appetite Amber w/ Gibson Hardshell Case

Up for sale is a 2010 Gibson USA Slash Appetite for Destruction Les Paul, commonly known as the Slash AFD Les Paul.

Released as a limited Gibson USA signature model, the AFD Les Paul was designed as a tribute to the Les Paul-style guitar Slash used during the recording of Guns N' Roses' landmark Appetite for Destruction album.

This example features a beautifully figured AAA maple top finished in Appetite Amber over a mahogany Les Paul body. Distinctive Slash appointments include the Slash headstock artwork and a pair of uncovered zebra Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Slash humbuckers.

Unlike the later regular-production Gibson Slash Collection models, this is the earlier limited-production Gibson USA Appetite for Destruction model from 2010.

Condition:

This guitar is in Very Good used condition overall.

The guitar shows normal cosmetic wear from previous ownership and play. There are several small dings and impressions visible in the top finish, including the marks shown in the close-up photos. Additional light surface scratches, handling marks and normal signs of use may be present throughout.

The figured maple top remains very attractive and presents well overall.

The hardware shows normal signs of age and use. The pickups, controls and hardware have been tested and are functioning properly.

No major structural damage is apparent from our inspection or the supplied photographs.

Please note that while a genuine Gibson hardshell case is included, this is not the original model-specific Slash AFD hardshell case that originally accompanied this model.

A selection of Gibson paperwork, plastic parts, hardware and other accessories is also included as pictured.
