Gibson Medalist 4/10 tube Amp 1967/68 Will Ship

1967/68 Gibson Medalist 4x10 two Channel Tube Guitar Amp with Foot Pedal. Serial Number is 10893 which puts it at 1967 or early 1968. A 1/12 version just sold for $1000. People are selling the 2/12 version for $1000 plus $400 shipping. You can't even find the 4/10 version for sale right now. I feel my price is within a fair range. Open to trades of course! :) I just got her serviced at Audio Specialties. They went through the whole system, replaced the 2 prong plug with a modern 3 pronged plug, added a new switch to the foot switch, replaced the tubes and made sure it was good for the next 60 years :) The tremolo isn't working, but it can with a new opto-isolator. The real spring reverb is lush and very usable. I believe this was Gibson's answer to Fender's Super Reverb, but I honestly think it sound much richer in tone. This is a split chassis design the power section on the bottom the pre-amp tubes section on top. The tone it provides can only come from this size transformers, big and punchy with solid bass and great fidelity. It is about 40 watts or less with 4 original 10" CTS Alnico speakers. Cosmetically it is in excellent condition as well.

I will ship at owners expense but the amp with packaging will be 90 pounds, 48" tall, 25" wide and 14" deep.
